Planting Fall Crops

  • Forest Avenue Outreach 334 Forest Avenue Des Moines, IA, 50314 United States (map)

Join permaculture expert, Brandon Kam, at the FAO orchard community gardens for a discussion and demonstration of planting of fall crops. There are many plants that thrive in the later months of the growing season. Plenty of plants have a short growing season that allows for harvest before the harsh winter temperatures arrive. Learn which plants are best for fall planting and fill some of the garden beds with plants that will provide food for the community into the coming months.

There is no charge for this class, free will donation based!
